Thanks for the offer. I probably read that about only two hundred and
forgot. Great job on the CD. It was like stepping into the past. Good news about Arthur, too. The Black Attack is Back.

Wiz words
I'd like to thank all of you who have been so kind in
words and action over the years to us lil' ol' fellows from a small town in
a place like Arkansas. When Jim and I began this journey, we knew that
this wasn't just a weekend gig we would do for a few dollars and the praise
and adoration given to us by young girls. (although we don't object to
that, for sure!)
This was a life-long calling for us, and as long as our family of fans
showed any appreciation for our attempt to create the songs and music that
made up our lives... then we would carry on... no matter what.
Now here we all are. A half of a century has gone by for us, and though
we've made and lost friends and family along this long, long road we've
traveled, one thing has remained a constant... and that is you folks.
It's you good people who have kept up our strength, our
patience... and our faith. I've gotta say that Black Oak Arkansas has the
best bunch of friends, fans and family that a bunch of small town country
boys could have ever asked for, and we love and appreciate every dadgum one
of ya.
That's no lie... no brag... just fact.
I'd like to wish each and everyone of ya'll a very Merry Christmas. In
the spirit of BOA, pass on the goodness to those around you who could use a
helping hand. That's the way we roll around here.
Peace-
Rickie Lee

Much appreciation BOA!
To all the brothers of Black Oak Arkansas,
I just wanted to express my sincere appreciation for you bros for giving us rock n rollers the great music you have created for us over the years, and to this very day of the 21st century.
Watching YouTube concert footage from California Jam festival from time to time, as well as other concert footage & interviews justifies your unique sound - that can't be duplicated from anyone...no arguing for those who think they can. So thank you "Black Oak Arkansas" for you creative contributions to the arts of the music industry.
Best to all of you bros and peace & happiness always. And please never fade away!

Wiz words (REPEATED FROM FACEBOOK)
" Snow and ice. One gig left to me this year, and you give
me snow and ice, Lord. I always said you had a sense of humor!
HEY! Ya'll watch for my Christmas song... "CHRISTMAS EVERYWHERE!" by Rickie
Lee and The Muttz comin' to youtube this week... with the help of my brother Joey
Killingsworth setting up the internet for me! It's got myself, Jim Dandy
and Richard Young of The Kentucky Headhunters singin' lead, ol' Pat
Daugherty on bass, my buddy Brian Kostner on piano and the incredible Buddy
Church playing guitar with me on a song I wrote quite a few years back. I
love Christmas!... yes, Lord... even with the snow and ice. "
This song is a present from
me to my brothers and sisters out there in these hard times that we are
going through. It is on no BOA album to be found, and if it brings a smile
to your face or a flutter to your heart... then I've done my job. A small
piece of my heart will be included with this song that I give to you as a
gift. Please take care of it.

Thanks Wiz!
I surely will say the same to you all, it's been my pleasure. The new CD
was an excellent early Christmas present. Since that present has been
unwrapped, it's really cool to hear all the praise that it's
giving/getting. Happy Christmas to all of BOA, and all the BOAkin! Good
Lord willing, 2014 will be even better! Looks like the STL area will really
feel like Christmas tomorrow, nasty forecast predicted. Take care

Long Live Black Oak Arkansas
Just saw the VH1 Classic show on BOA; GREAT to relive that particular
era. Those were damn great records, and will never be forgotten by those
of us who were there. New material solid as ever. Love you, Rickie and
Jim; thanks for all those fantastic times. Would you mind giving us some
bios on original and current members? If you could! Sure appreciate it...
